Safe Haven Ranch

Safe Haven Ranch is building a future home for equine-assisted healing, community gatherings, and programs that support individuals rebuilding their lives.

We are currently raising capital to acquire the right ranch property and develop the infrastructure needed to bring this vision to life. While we have our eyes on several potential properties, we remain open to opportunities that align with our mission.

As we move forward, we are also beginning conversations about welcoming horses, livestock, and other animals that will become part of the ranch community and the programs that will serve both people and animals.

Our Capital Campaign Goal: 12.5 Million

This campaign will allow Safe Haven Ranch to secure land, develop essential infrastructure, and launch programs that serve individuals, families, and the broader community.

The campaign supports:

  • Land acquisition

  • Program and community facilities

  • Resident housing for the Launch Program

  • Ranch infrastructure and animal care facilities

  • Program launch and operating runway

Safe Haven Ranch is currently evaluating several potential property opportunities. This campaign ensures we are ready to move forward when the right ranch property becomes available.

Phase 1: Land Acquisition & Ranch Stabilization | $12.5 Million

This first phase secures the land and ensures the ranch can operate safely while programs begin to launch.

Funding supports:

  • Land acquisition – $5M
    Securing the ranch property that will become the permanent home of Safe Haven Ranch.

  • Community Lodge & Retreat Center – $4M
    A 12,000 sq ft lodge with approximately 10–15 guest rooms, gathering spaces, and kitchen facilities to support retreats, workshops, and community events.

  • Leadership & Operating Runway – $2.6M
    Two years of staffing and operating stability to responsibly launch programs.

  • Property stabilization & improvements – ~$900K
    Fencing upgrades, landscaping, ranch improvements, and outdoor activity areas.

This phase allows Safe Haven Ranch to secure the property and begin serving the community.

Investing in the Future of Safe Haven Ranch

Phase 2: Program Infrastructure | $5.7 Million

Once the ranch is secured, Phase 2 focuses on building the core facilities that support Safe Haven Ranch programs.

Funding supports:

  • Covered riding arena with 10 stalls and apartment

  • Launch Program resident cabins

  • Renovations to existing housing

  • Event and program infrastructure

These facilities allow Safe Haven Ranch to expand equine programs, retreats, and the Launch Program.

Phase 3: Legacy Improvements | $4.2 Million

The final phase focuses on long-term infrastructure that ensures the ranch continues serving the community for generations.

Funding supports:

  • Additional resident cabins

  • Hay barn improvements

  • Ranch facility improvements and expansion

  • Historical Facility Restorations

This phase completes the long-term vision of Safe Haven Ranch.
